John R. Foley, P.E.

John Foley graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Mr. Foley joined the firm in 1983 as a Project Engineer. His primary responsibilities were in the site design area. This included the site planning, grading, drainage, water distribution and sewage collection systems for various projects. A major project management responsibility during this period was the River Wilderness Country Club project.
 Mr. Foley became a Principal and Partner in the firm in 1990 and served as Project Manager for several key projects. As a consultant to Manatee County he served as Project Manager for several road widening and paving projects. His experience with the Manatee County School Board includes management of design and construction activities for dozens of schools including MTI Campuses at Caruso Road and at Lakewood Ranch.
Mr. Foley was the Engineer of Record for the 1,200 acre residential project “The Concession,” which includes an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. He also served as Project Manager for the Lakewood Ranch Hospital.
Mr. Foley became President of the firm in 2015. He serves as a Municipal Consultant to both the City of Palmetto Public Works Department and the Community Redevelopment Agency. He is also Principal in Charge of Manatee County Transportation Projects for the firm. Mr. Foley is a Fellow member of both the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Florida Engineering Society.
